Steel Thickness Measurement
The thickness and profile of steel or aluminium strip can be continuously measured and controlled.
Linear X-ray detectors and photomultiplier/scintillators modules are used in this application.
The thickness of steel plate can be measured using high activity radioactive sources and scintillator photomultiplier detectors.
