Sens-Tech products do not fall within the scope of the ROHS Directive because they are not used in any of the 8 defined product categories¹. Should any customer's application fall within the defined categories they should contact us to provide variants that are ROHS compliant. We understand that additional categories may be added in the future but this is unlikely to apply before 2010.

¹The ROHS Directive applies to 8 product categories of electronics:

• Large household appliances
• Small household appliances
• IT and telecoms equipment
• Consumer equipment
• Lighting equipment
• Electrical and electronic tools
• Toys, leisure and sports equipment
• Automatic dispensers

Instruments using our products generally fall into the categories of:

• Medical devices
• Monitoring and control instrumentation
